The Role:

Our Android team is focused on innovation within the Imgur app, constantly improving both the technical foundation and the user interface. You will be making large contributions to building out an application that is actively used by millions of people. As we have shifted to a mobile first company, you will be developing exciting new features for our app that will make a huge impact for our Imgur community.

Your Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of essential components in the Imgur app, impacting the whole Imgur community
• Tackle tough software problems at the core of the Imgur experience
• Brainstorm new ideas to continually iterate and improve the Imgur mobile experience
• Build an amazing experience for the millions of people who will be using the products/features you create and work on
• Strive for long-term growth as a software engineer inside and outside of Android

What You Bring To The Table:

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent in work experience
• Minimum of 3+ years Android development experience
• Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5)
• 5+ years of general software development
• Enthusiasm for Android development
• A passion for beautiful, pragmatic code paired with a strong sense of product design
• Love for the Imgur product
